Perfected your cat eye? Here are four advanced liner styles to try
When it comes to makeup, practice really does make perfect. If you’ve been working steadily on a cateye for a while, chances are you’ve improved greatly over time. Maybe you even think you have perfected the craft. If this sounds like you, then it’s time to soar to new heights with your makeup. Here are some advanced liner styles that the cateye pro can try conquering next.
Double the fun
Two wings are always better than one. The double duty winged look is an homage to the Sixties that has made quite a comeback. To achieve this look use our Insanely Intense Tattooed Eyeliner in Jet Black to line your eyes first, then carefully place another line directly over it in your second favorite Tattooed shade. To avoid the lines looking too thick, make each wing about half the width you would normally make it, so together they’ll create one line that is the typical size you prefer.
Ring around the wings
You may have seen your favorite YouTubers try this advanced style that is out-of-this-world cool. After you apply a wing to your desired effect take a liner of a different shade and add on some rings, squares, or other shape to the end of your wing. The end result should look as though these shapes are hanging on your wing. It’s a pretty futuristic look that is sure to be a hit!
The confetti look can be created with a number of different liners or even one shade. To start you either outline your wing freehand or use tape to guide your way. Then it’s just creating strategic little dots to make one cohesive cateye shape. This style might take some time, but the end result is simply stunning!
Blank space outline
This graphic liner look is super fun and can really shake up your normal cateye look. Take your favorite Tattooed shade and draw an outline of a cateye but don’t fill it in. This style might seem easy, but creating a clean, crisp and evenly drawn line takes a trained eye and hand. If you want to dress this look up even more, consider adding some glitter or shimmery eye shadow in the blank space. Our Eye Lights in the shade Chill would provide a cool, futuristic effect.
