Awards shows are an opportunity to see your favorite celeb rock the red carpet. The 2018 Grammys were especially fantastic this year in terms of hair and makeup looks. Recreating your favorite styles is easy when you use your favorite Skone products. Here are some tips to achieve that red carpet glamour for a night out or every day.

Heavy Metal

Don’t be afraid to go Gaga for this Grammy-inspired look! Take your Tattooed Solid pencil and create a graphic liner shape with your eye, then use your Luxe Pro Blending brush to blend it out over your entire lid. Take your Insanely Intense Tattooed Eyeliner to define the wing, and dab some Eye Lights from the inner corners out to about halfway across your lid for some heavy metal flare. For that extra award-winning shine, take the Eye Lights and line your lower lashine with your Luxe Pro Smokey brush. Finish off the look with your favorite mascara. You will want to keep your blush natural and light, as well as creating a neutral lip, so the eye look can shine.

Picture perfect in plum

Shades of purple were all over the Grammy red carpet this season! To recreate magic with this hot color, use your Tattooed liner in plum to create a colorful cat eye. For some bold blush, use your Luxe Pro Contour brush to gently glide a plum colored blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend out to your temples. Start off slow; this shade is probably darker than your usual blush. If you want to focus on your lips instead, use our Luxe Doubler in Wine. For a matte finish, simply line and fill your lids. For a glossy finish, follow up with a top coat.

Double shade stunner

Create a top wing with your Tattooed liner to your desired thickness and length. Then take a shadow or liner of your favorite shade (we suggest our Eye Lights in OliveGold) and line your lower lashline and create a parallel line of color to your wing. Top off your lashes with some mascara and apply individual false lashes to give that retro, doll-like look. Throw on some clear or pink gloss and you are red carpet ready!
